The elder appeared to be in his sixties, thin and gaunt, yet his clothes were clean and tidy, and his hair was meticulously combed. He was holding the hand of a boy who looked about five or six years old. The boy, too, was neatly dressed, with black hair and eyes, fair skin, and a delicate, almost sculpted face. His deep, tranquil gaze betrayed none of the liveliness typical of children his age.
Looking at the blacksmith shop before him, a trace of helplessness and discontent flickered in the old man's eyes as he called out loudly, “Little San, Grandpa has come to pick you up!”
