“What… what are you trying to do?” Wei Qingqiu trembled, her delicate body shivering as she saw Chu Tian approach, his eyes brimming with desire.

“What do you think?” Chu Tian replied with a wicked smile.

“Tell me, was this all part of your plan?” Wei Qingqiu feigned anger, fixing Chu Tian with a steely glare.

“What plan?” Chu Tian asked in return.

“You deliberately fabricated our relationship in front of Grandfather, then insisted on staying in my room. If that’s not premeditated, what is?” Wei Qingqiu stared straight at him, her expression tinged with anger.

“You can’t blame me for that. It was your father who arranged for us to share a room,” Chu Tian said. “And as for fabricating our relationship, how is it fabricated? Aren’t you my woman?”

Chu Tian spread his hands, affecting an innocent look.

“Who… who said I was your woman?” Wei Qingqiu’s cheeks flushed, clearly unaccustomed to Chu Tian’s directness.

After all, admitting she was Chu Tian’s woman in front of her family was far too embarrassing.

“Alright, I’m going to shower. You make the bed. Tonight, we’ll be sleeping in the same bed,” Chu Tian chuckled, then turned and headed to the bathroom.

Soon, the sound of running water echoed from the bathroom.

Wei Qingqiu’s face was burning, her heart racing wildly like a startled deer. If she insisted on sleeping separately, it wouldn’t have been impossible, but her resistance to Chu Tian was hardly resolute. Instead, her attitude seemed to invite pursuit even as she pretended to refuse, because she too liked Chu Tian.

Fifteen minutes later, Chu Tian finished his shower and emerged from the bathroom, a bathrobe wrapped loosely around him. There was clearly nothing underneath; if he so much as untied the sash, everything would be exposed to Wei Qingqiu.

“Why… why aren’t you wearing any clothes?” Wei Qingqiu shot him a glare, unable to hide her nervousness.

“Isn’t this bathrobe clothing?” Chu Tian grinned playfully. “Or are you hinting that I should take it off?”

He pretended to undo the sash, his tone teasing.

Wei Qingqiu blushed even deeper, quickly turning her head away and forcing herself to remain calm.

As the minutes ticked by, Wei Qingqiu’s heart pounded ever faster. Suddenly, Chu Tian pulled back the covers and slipped into bed.

“You… do you really plan to sleep in the same bed as me?” Wei Qingqiu’s voice was tight, her hands gripping the sheets.

“What else? There’s only one bed in this room. Where else would you have me sleep?” Chu Tian closed his eyes, nestling into the soft pillow, breathing in the lingering fragrance on the quilt.

Wei Qingqiu’s expression shifted from shyness to composure. She glanced at Chu Tian and found his breathing even, as if he’d already fallen asleep.

She quickly picked up her nightgown and slipped into the bathroom. Soon, the sound of running water came again.

When she emerged, clad in a semi-transparent nightdress, Chu Tian’s eyes were already open—he had never truly fallen asleep, but had been roused by the sounds from the bathroom.

“You’re still awake?” Wei Qingqiu asked in surprise.

“How could I sleep alone when we agreed to share the bed and you hadn’t returned yet?” Chu Tian lay there, pulling back the covers and patting the empty half of the bed with a grin.

“Hmph. Don’t think that just because we’re sharing a room you can take liberties with me. If you try anything tonight, I’ll tell Qingxue,” Wei Qingqiu threatened, but still climbed into bed beside Chu Tian.

Chu Tian turned his head and chuckled softly.

His gaze fell on Wei Qingqiu, her exquisite, snow-white figure barely concealed by the flimsy nightdress. She immediately rolled over, pulling the quilt over herself to hide her alluring curves.

Though she was now under the covers, Chu Tian could still sense her body trembling ever so slightly with nervousness.

A silence fell over the room. Time passed; neither spoke, as if they’d both drifted off to sleep.

Then, Wei Qingqiu’s lips parted and she spoke softly, her voice barely audible—only Chu Tian’s keen hearing could catch her words.

“We’re already in the same bed. Are you really a man? Or… am I just that unappealing to you?”

In the next instant, Chu Tian rolled over and wrapped his arms around her slender waist.

“Are you really sure about this?” he whispered, his breath warm against her ear as their bodies pressed close.

After a moment, Wei Qingqiu also turned to face him, her eyes shining bright in the darkness, her silence speaking louder than words.

Chu Tian, never one to hesitate, drew her into his arms and pressed his lips to hers.

Their kisses grew ever more fervent as they tumbled across the sheets.

No longer shy, Wei Qingqiu surrendered herself to the moment—she had made her choice, there was no turning back.

That night was wild, passionate, and intense—a true communion of souls.

The next morning, sunlight streamed across the headboard as Chu Tian awoke to find someone nestled in his arms.

He opened his eyes in surprise and saw Wei Qingqiu sleeping soundly on his arm.

They had been up all night; he’d truly pushed her too hard.

Recalling last night’s madness, Chu Tian’s heart was a tangle of emotions.

He had resolved to remain pure, to save his first time for his senior sisters, but with Wei Qingqiu, something deeper had taken hold.

It was this special feeling that led to last night’s frenzy.

Wei Qingqiu had become the first woman in Chu Tian’s life. If his seven senior sisters found out, he had no idea how he’d explain.

But in truth, it wasn’t entirely his fault. It was Wei Changtian who’d decided, on his own, to put them in the same room.

And with a beauty as alluring as Wei Qingqiu, what man could resist?

Chu Tian was no saint. What happened between him and Wei Qingqiu was only natural.

Besides, though he was growing closer to his senior sisters, they had never defined their relationship. Strictly speaking, Wei Qingqiu was the first woman with whom Chu Tian had formalized such a bond—she was, in name and in fact, his legitimate wife.

With this thought, Chu Tian’s doubts disappeared.

Just then, Wei Qingqiu stirred and slowly opened her eyes.

They held each other’s gaze; then, cheeks flushed, Wei Qingqiu pushed him away and turned to get out of bed…
