Everyone hurried to follow Chu Tian’s lead and gathered at the entrance of the bar. Even Yang Xuan and his group had come over at this point. They simply didn’t believe that Chu Tian could enter the bar ahead of time, and the only reason they were so determined to follow was to see Chu Tian and his friends make a fool of themselves.

“I really want to see how you plan to barge in.” Yang Xuan sneered, his face twisted with mockery. “If you get your legs broken in a moment, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

“Open the door.” Chu Tian’s gaze sharpened, his tone issuing a command.

“Yes, sir!” The security guard at the door glanced at Chu Tian and immediately pushed the door open.

Without hesitation, Chu Tian walked straight in, followed closely by Li Xin and the three girls, none of whom met the slightest resistance.

“They… they can really get in ahead of time?” Zhao Liying stared, dumbfounded, rooted to the spot.

“Impossible!” Yang Xuan’s face stiffened. His earlier look of smug anticipation, waiting for a spectacle, had now turned to shock. He tried to follow, but two security guards blocked his path.

“Sir, the bar isn’t open yet. Please wait in line outside,” the guard intoned, his expression stern, as if no one could break the rules.

“Why can they go in and not me?” Yang Xuan demanded.

“They are friends of Mr. Chu. Of course they may enter early. Are you friends of Mr. Chu?” the guard retorted.

“I…” Yang Xuan was at a loss for words.

“We’re friends of Chu Tian!” Zhao Liying cried, panic rising in her heart. She turned to Li Xin, her earlier insults forgotten in her eagerness to enter early. “Li Xin, explain to them—we came with you!”

Li Xin stopped in his tracks. He turned back to Zhao Liying, his eyes full of complex emotion. Zhao Liying looked at him expectantly, thinking he would change his mind.

“Chu Tian was right. You aren’t worth my affection. You’d better wait in line with Young Master Yang,” Li Xin sneered coldly, then walked into the bar without looking back.

“Li Xin, come back here!” Zhao Liying shouted, regret flooding her heart. If only she hadn’t rejected Li Xin earlier, it would be her, now, entering the bar ahead of everyone else.

Now that she knew the background of the Queen of the Night, Zhao Liying’s vanity surged even stronger.

To be able to enter the Night Bar ahead of time—what a mark of prestige that would be! To brag about it in the future would be enough to make others look at her with new respect.

But just because of a single wrong choice, she, Zhao Liying, had lost that chance. How could she not be angry?

Li Xin was nothing but a poor nobody—how could he know a friend like Chu Tian? And who exactly was Chu Tian, that he could enter the Night Bar ahead of time?

Her mind swarmed with questions as she rushed madly toward the bar, only to be stopped once more by the two guards.

“You’re not allowed in. Don’t make trouble at the Night Bar, or you’ll bear the consequences,” the guards said unceremoniously, shoving Zhao Liying to the ground.

“What are you doing? Haven’t you embarrassed yourself enough?” Yang Xuan, humiliated and furious, dared not offend the Night Bar staff and could only vent his anger on Zhao Liying.

Even as a scion of wealth, Yang Xuan’s status meant nothing in front of the Night Bar’s doors.

The onlookers were stunned. For years, the rules of the Night Bar had never changed, and no one had ever been able to break them—yet Chu Tian had done so, rewriting the rules. Who exactly was this young man?

Inside the bar, Chu Tian waved his hand and chose the best booth in the place. “Sit wherever you like; everything tonight is on me.”

The booth was right beside the bar, offering the best view in the house.

The girls were ecstatic; they hadn’t expected such a stroke of luck when they’d agreed to come out drinking tonight.

As the bar hadn’t officially opened, there were no other guests inside. The quiet ambiance was perfect for conversation.

Perhaps because of Chu Tian’s earlier actions, the girls’ attitude toward him was warm and enthusiastic. In half an hour, Li Xin and the girls were already laughing and playing together, completely at ease.

Chu Tian simply smiled and sipped his drink, his eyes roaming the bar as if searching for the Second Senior Sister.

Just then, a bell sounded—dong! It was eight o’clock, the official opening time of the Night Bar.

With the guards letting people in, the crowds that had been waiting outside poured into the bar.

Yang Xuan and his group were among them, managing to find a booth in the second row—far from the bar, the lighting dim, and separated from the dance floor by a considerable distance. Compared to Chu Tian’s booth, it was a world apart.

“Chu Tian, do you know someone here? How come you could bring us in so easily, before opening?” Li Xin had been wanting to ask but hadn’t found the right moment; now he couldn’t hold back.

“This is my second sister’s bar,” Chu Tian replied without hesitation.

“Second sister? Your sister is the Queen of the Night?” The girls immediately caught on, exclaiming in surprise.

“Your real sister?” Li Xin pressed, his tone heavier.

“Sworn sister,” Chu Tian chuckled. Calling his Second Senior Sister his sworn sister wasn’t exactly untrue.

Li Xin shot him a knowing look—those who understood, understood.

At that moment, Ye Binglan descended from the second floor. Dressed in a flaming red, strappy gown that accentuated her voluptuous figure, she strode into the bar area, her long, fair legs capturing every gaze.

“Tonight is a special occasion—the Queen of the Night herself will be mixing drinks for guests, but only five glasses,” announced a staff member, speaking into a megaphone.

The crowd erupted.

“The Queen of the Night is personally mixing drinks?”

“I’m so glad I came tonight! If I get to taste a cocktail crafted by her own hands, I’ll have bragging rights for life!”

“Which table will be lucky enough to receive such favor?”

The air was electric with excitement.

Ye Binglan took out several bottles and poured them into a shaker, moving it gently. Her motions were smooth and elegant, without any showy flourishes.

She was here to mix drinks, not perform circus tricks. Many bartenders, in pursuit of spectacle, would put on all sorts of flashy moves to catch the crowd’s eye. Some patrons even believed that only with such flair could a true cocktail be made.

But Ye Binglan had never agreed with that. She held the heavy shaker in one hand, her rhythm steady and measured. Though there was no ostentation, her every move was a delight to behold.

After all, which guest could ever look away when a stunning beauty was personally crafting their drink?

Soon, Ye Binglan finished the first glass. Every eye in the bar was fixed on her, eager to see who would be the recipient of this coveted cocktail.
